Not wanting to let DD quit

Looking for advice as I'm wondering if my dd11 could just be having a bit of a burnout. Has anyone experienced their child suddenly not wanting to go to the club that they are usually very extremely passionate about? We have had a busy weekend and early week and now her mid term holiday is being spent at dance camp instead of lazy days. Also, she has her very first competition this weekend. I also think her hormones are a bit all over the place just now (even though she doesn't agree). I really don't want her to give it up as I feel she is just overwhelmed, tired and just having an off week. Says she's can't be bothered with it, doesn't want to go back to dance camp but when you ask if she wants to give it up she's seems a bit undecided. Not sure of the best approach.

Yes both of mine gave up a much loved activity. I thought it was the wrong decision so asked them to do one more term, which they agreed to on the understanding that if they felt the same they could quit. I just wanted to make sure they’d given it plenty of thought and it wasn’t a spur of the moment thing.

I'm thinking its just a rash decision cos shes a bit overwhelmed. Hormones, busy week, first competition, transition up to secondary school starting. I'm thinking they are all playing a part in her losing herself a bit if that makes sense. We have made a compromise, she doesn't have to go to the dance camps but she still has to keep her dance class and competition class. She seems totally fine with it. Hopefully it's just a faze. Xx
