DD is 7, she (not I) has recently commented on her hairy legs and mono brow, she has said she doesn't like them. What should I tell her option wise (I don't remove hair and so have no experience).

This also hasn't come from her OP

It's likely to have come from other unkind children.

I wouldn't recommend she does any hair removal at the age of 7 and reassure her and give her lots of positive compliments and reassure her she is beautiful.

I agree it'll be other girls at school or something in TV. Children are so aware of themselves and highly critical of others these days at a younger and younger age.
I wouldn't do anything yet but would try to reassure her.
My DD is 121/2 and has suddenly got very hairy legs they are hairier than mine and mine haven't been waxed for two months (my DH has asked me if she/we should get them waxed). I said no not until she asks. She knows I get my legs waxed so I am leaving it until then. She mainly wears jeans and tights at school so just the next couple of weeks on holiday to go. But she is a young 121/2 so I don't want to push her into something. She also feels she has a mono brow as she can feel it (it's not visible) and she has beautiful natural eyebrows (which are still in tact). Yet by the sounds of it most of the girls in her class in year 7 had waxed eyebrows (one had tattooed eyebrows), many have false nails, eyelashes and wear makeup (I have seen them in town.

I personally think she may be ready for waxing? Even though she's so young. The brow in similar in colour and texture. Maybe threading/laser?

Please let her wax, be threaded, shave or have laser hair removal. As a child, I struggled with excess body hair and severe bullying. My own DD was bullied by parents, leading us to now step it up to laser hair removal.

Believe me when I say this - it is so much easier to take care of removing excess hair, than it is to work on years of body confidence after being bullied by other children. Even in my thirties, I'm still trying to deal with the after effects of bullying at school over something so easily fixed.

Vegemite is spot on, yes we all know she shouldn't have to remove hair because of peer pressure etc but it's her who has to put up with it and it really is best to remove the problem, take her for eyebrow threading and professional waxing if you can afford it

Bright eyes just a question, if your daughter thinks she has a mono brow but you think you can't see it- where's the harm in plucking that small section for her?
