Drop your boys at a theme park and leave them there for a few hours?

DS will be 13 in July (year 8) - last summer I would've said no bloody way. If he asked this summer, I wouldn't hesitate - he has grown up so much in the last few months. Trust your instinct.

I looked into this for my daughter for her birthday. They won't let you until they are at least 16 I think.

irregularegular · 25/04/2017 13:24

sorry, I take it back, it is lower than that for most parks, but there is a minimum. I guess daughter was younger than I remembered at the time!

I went to a theme park with the school I was in when I was 11/12,
This was 10 years ago mind, but they just left us in groups, no teacher following round etc, Smile

Depends on the kids in question & how savvy & sensible they are. Probably 15/16 but with guidelines - e.g. Don't leave the park area, meet me outside at the exact location at this time, no being silly on rides etc etc

I think I would let both my yr 8 son (13) and yr 10 daughter (14). Definitely the daughter. Provided it was allowed by the parks. Some do have a minimum age of 14.
