Gaming bus party?
FlannelTimCircleSocks · 21/04/2017 10:00
Trying to decide what to do for a 10th birthday party.
Has anyone had experience of a gaming bus party? It seems quite expensive...but is it worth it?

Not of the gaming bus (dd friend did the dj one) but check Groupon before you book as have seen offers on there!!

Thank you, I'll have a look. Did that party go down well?

Ooh - watching with interest. I am looking at this also for my ds. Only one near us though I think, Ultra Gaming Bus, and I am looking for some reviews / opinions.
Where are you based op?

DS has loved the parties he has gone to!
It's gaming - what's not to like?
Just make sure that you have space for the bus to park outside your house, and remember that you will still need space inside your house for food, toilet, general mooching - it doesn't completely replace your house as the venue, just extends your lounge

A friend did this for her son and was happy with it as far as I know.

Wouldn't 10yr olds be better running round a field or sports centre rather than sitting on a bus? I work with children and 10yr olds already spend far too much gaming without making an extra treat of it. It's like taking a bus conductor on a bus journey for their birthday!

I'm the op - based in Midlands - have booked gaming2u and Ds was crazy excited when I told him!
We have a big drive with access to electrics. The plan is to transport the 10 boys home from school, quick change and then on to the bus for an hour and half. Then in to the house for tea and then home.
I will report back next week...

I had one of these gaming bus parties for my 10yr old. Got a Groupon voucher so it worked out OK on price. The kids loved it - some inside the bus playing all sorts of (age appropriate) games and the outside screens had dance games on it for the others. I had 15 boys & girls and they absolutely loved it.

This bus my grandson had the screens were all inside and they had a brilliant Karaoke machine
