Holiday activities

Just wondering what kinds of holiday activities you have lined up for DC aged 10-14 for half term? And wha you take into account when choosing (times, food provision, expense, DC preference etc). Trying to find stuff to do during the school break. Any ideas welcome. Am in Leicestershire area.

If you mean the next holidays ie the Feb half term ones then we tend to do a lot of activities that are indoor ie cinema, trampolining park. When the weather is better later on in the year (well we live in hope!) then we do a lot more indoors.

Is the Space Centre near you-that looks good for a day out.

There will be a netball camp for one day. We might go to cinema on kids showing, and we have agreed one day we will 'make gloop'
I usually use half term as good opportunity for proper room clean and learning a new recipe. I'm a fun slavedriver
