Is this normal?

I have one DD who is 11 middle child, who seems to have 2 hour long tantrums over ridiculous things that spiral completely out of control. She cries and can't calm herself down, she's extremely unhappy and it's dividing our house . She is showing no obvious signs of puberty. Little one tries to imitate her awful behaviour. Seriously considering getting advice - not sure whether she has behaviour disorder of some sort. Has anyone experienced this?

I wold say 2 hour tantrums at 11 is not 'normal', no.

Has she always done this or is it something that has started recently?
Any other changes (Bereavement / marriage breakups / etc) ?
Any other areas of concern ?
Any particular triggers you've noticed ?

Hi packing for going away and couldn't find felt tips! She can't seem to calm down. Always been prone to tantrum behaviour and finds it really hard to calm down. Change or car journeys seem to be a trigger or when she feels focus of attention is not on her. Worried it will get worse on moving to secondary school. Feel I have to seek counselling of some sort.
