Hi everyone x
My daughter turned 8 four months ago. She recently became very sensitive and easily starts crying when her younger siblings tease or even just look at her in the wrong way. Tonight she was running around the house and i went to hug her and pick her up i noticed she was very sweaty under her arms and had the 'proper' body odour as anyone sweating would. Surely this is too young? Or is it normal at this and infact my baby is no longer a baby Sad

There's no right age.. Each girl is different. I bought my daughter flannels especially for her armpits and a nice cosmetic bag and a roll on deodorant. I just remind her has she done her armpits. She felt quite excited about it all and loved her special bag.

No not necessarily too young. My 10 year old daughter has had BO since she was around 8.5. It doesn't mean she's about to have her periods, just that there are a few hormonal changes starting. My daughter is nowhere near the stage of periods starting.

My dd started her period at 9 so yours is probably well on the way. Buy her a nice deodarant and start to discuss which sanitary towels/ tampons she will need
Oh and be prepaared for the pmt
