12yo son has wet the bed twice in last fortnight! Why??

He's def going through puberty - could that be it? Doesn't seem especially stressed about anything though I haven't had a conversation with him about anything he might be worrying about yet. I saw a mention of it happening as a result of adolescent growth spurts but it wasn't a reputable website, you know just one of those yahoo ask a question ones. Anyone else heard of bedwetting in puberty?
