Dd late developer

My dd is 10 now and going into year 6 all of her friends wear crop tops and bras and even 3 or 4 of them have their period.about 12 shave their legs and stuff and my dd feels left out.she is flat chested so no point in crop tops and bras.not a single hair except from on her head .she really wants some boobs and hair and her period but I was a late developer and so is she.what should I do

Nowhere near a late developer. I could have just worn a vest up til about age 16. Before I had my baby I was a 34G!

She really will not be the only one, but she is clearly only concentrating on the early developers.

Puberty is not a new computer game or something to have. It doesnt mean she cant wear crop tops etc. If her friends are making her feel bad because she hasnt started her periods etc at 10, then maybe talk to her about it. If thats not the case, then she is putting pressure on herself for no reason.

gosh humans are funny creatures, so worried about 'Missing Out'. Gee I've never been to prison or thru divorce, but I really feel I'm missing out on those experiences.

Dd wears them and she's only 8. The other kids wear them and she wanted to. not a battle worth fighting Imo.

10 is not even late. I was 16 before I started my periods or got my aa first bra my mum refused to buy me crop tops. I was the only one who didn't get to have any and I felt really left out at the time

Late developer?? At 10? Confused

I was 6'1 at 14 years old, flat chested and no periods. That is a late developer.

When I last looked, crop-tops were just vests with the bottom cut off. Would you deny her vests (if she wanted them) on the grounds of her currently flat chest?

Just go with the flow. DD's school all wear crop tops from year five, although DD has no sign of puberty, I want her to fit in. (speaking as someone who never fitted in, and still bears the scars)
