I know his behaviour is relatively normal but it is driving me nuts! went to a play centre today (at his request) and he then whinged and moaned the whole bloody time because some kid had bumped into him and dss decoded it was done deliberately - the kid was about 6 and doing nothing other than being a typical 6 yo imo.

I expect dsd to be an emotional nightmare when she gets teenage hormones but please tell me that boys don't suffer pmt and crying over absolutely nothing all the way through! Wink

It sounds like he's having difficulty reading social situations. it might be worth writing down when he has a wobbly. Why he had it , how he dealt with what happened. Did it effect him for longer than it should have. See if there's a pattern. It might help you work out what's triggering it. if it's hormones or a social difficulty.

to be honest it's probably a combination of both. his Dm never encourages him to interact with other kids and as a result he has zero social skills so finds it all a bit overbearing. but he has been tons better recently and has been. dealing with situations much better. however I think the hormones kicking in are making it worse
