DD, 11, has started to get pimples on her face. Can anyone recommend and gentle cleanser and moisturiser for her please?

DD11 just started using Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing lotion and Oil Free Moisturiser both for sensitive skin and seems to be working for her.

Have tried a few gel type face washes but she hated them. Trial and error...

Clean and clear is so harsh on the skin. I second oil cleansing, or if you really want actual 'products' Elemis or Simple are really nice.

Ive never used an oil based cleanser for spots but can understand why they would work. In all honesty when I was a teen I only ever used to wash my face with water. No soap, no cleanser, no nothing! My face was always spot free. I quickly learnt that the girls who were obsessed with cleaning their faces with products such as clearisil or lean and clear would end up absolutely riddled with acne! It's because they have chemicals in them that strip the skin of all natural oils which then makes the skin work in overdrive to replenish the oils lost which then creates even more spots!!
