Choking cough

My eleven year old son has a choking cough can not breath for a few seconds and then seems to black out. We have been to hospital a few times they were unable to advise what to do apart from breathing exercises. If anyone has experienced this with their child I would appreciate any advise.

Have they tested him for whooping cough?

He had a test for whooping cough which can back negative

I would be asking for a referral to a respitory paed.

Thank you I will try and get him referred to Paed respiratory specialist.
