Ds is going through the mill lately - nothing's right, everything's a chore, he doesn't know what's wrong, he's furious then he cries like a baby over insignificant things - yep, puberty is here.
Have you found a book that helps with the emotional side of puberty as well as physical changes?
He's 11.

Hi, we've got the Dr Christian's Guide to Growing Up (terrible book cover but it was the one I like most from a range in the bookshop). DS1 does the crying thing as well. But he said that he knew that he would be constantly in a temper because the book said so. Hmm (And I said that that's no excuse for not putting in an effort ... Hmm Hmm).

I just don't know ... Grin But it's better than him not knowing what's going on. I think.

No book recommendation, but a friend of mine's mom used to tell her sons that there is a man inside them trying to come out and a little boy trying to stay the way he was, and this causes all the emotional upset.

We're in the middle of this! I love the 'Man trying to come out, boy trying to stay the same' Lastinglight! My DD was much worse however, it was heartbreaking being unable to help her. So emotional. DS seems a little more balanced, but it's early days!!!!
