Only 1 breast bud developed on dd..

Dd is only 8 (9 in June) and just before Christmas one breast began to develop.
Now she has a prominent bud but only on one side, the other is completely flat.
Anyone had experience of this? I'm sure mine grew at the same time. How long til we worry about the other one not growing?

This happened with DD1 i think she was a bit older, but i got myself in a right old state because i hadn't heard of breat buds, both her boobies are the same now :)

She doesn't seem concerned, and I guess there's nothing can be done anyway at this stage!

Well, I'm not entirely sure that this happened with my girls, but I've been reading a fair bit about puberty lately (looking up timescales of development) and it was mentioned somewhere that one breast bud is likely to develop first. So normal.

Happened to me too.. they told me it was normal.. a while ago ;)

It happened to me, and totally freaked me out at that age. I didn't want to talk to anyone about it, because I found it embarrasing. Years later I read that it was completely normal.
