Toothbrushes for 11 year old

Just wondering what toothbrushes others buy for their preteens, do you buy a child's one or an adult's one? If anyone buys one with a smaller head, can you tell me where you buy it please.

My daughter is quite small for her age, so an adult one looks massive. I used to buy children's brushes and then a while ago I came across some small adult ones so bought a few. She needs some more now and can't seem to find anything that feels right.

dd (11) has an adult one, her criteria is that it is purple Hmm

I don't think it matters that much as long as they use 'em.

I don't think my boys had a child's toothbrush past about age 7 or 8. They started with soft adult ones and then on to medium ones - I think they have average sized mouths and neither have ever had any dental issues at age 13 and 12....unless you count a broken front tooth....but he didn't break it on his toothbrush :o

I am sure her mouth will be perfectly fine for an adults toothbrush - If it helps, I find the cheap supermarket ones are usually quite a neat size though they do wear out fast.

Try an electric, they tend to have smaller heads.
