Moody 9 and a half year old DD

I'm sure I'm not the only one - but my dd is really getting some attitude; not with anyone else just me! I'm being tough on the sanctions, but thinking that maybe a day just me and her may swing the situation. Any suggestions - fed up of moaning about bedrooms, h/w, losing items of clothing/ shoes, being selfish and upsetting her siblings!

Ditto for DD2. She just argues about absolutely everything and gets really shouty with me and then cires. She has always been a bit like this but it has been getting worse. She is only really like this in the evening so I assuming she gets grumpy when she is tired (not that this is an excuse).

I'm afraid I can't give any tips on this as I don't have much success myself. I just keep nagging her and then sanctions.

Days out together are always a joy though. She likes shopping so that would always be a nice day out for us.
