DD attends a pre-school playgroup 2 x afternoons a week. What's the deal with buying presents for 'teachers'? Does this only start when they go to school or does it apply to nurseries too? And if so, what sort of thing? There's about 8 of them!!

If it helps, I've never bought them anything and my LO has attended the nursery 3 full days a week for 3 years.

I know from school staff that they don't object to people buying something for the playgroup rather than for individual staff IYSWIM.

I tend to get a little something for the Key Person/worker - something they can share with the rest of the staff if they wish.
