Splitting nursery grant

Ds currently attends a private pre school 2 mornings a weekand they've screwed up their numbers for September so can't increase his days til at least Christmas.

He'll be nearly 3 1/2 so I think he could do with a little bit more - even just an extra morning but if I find somewhere that could do this can we get funding at two separate places?

Yes - funding can be split between two different providers. Children aged over three are entitled to 12.5 hours free care per week (note - some private nurseries will try and charge you 'top up fees' so watch out for that)

Thanks for that - just hope I can find somewhere now
