Hampstead pre-schools

Hi, I'm desperate for some personal experiences of early years schools in Hampstead. We live in Islington but are thinking about sending our 2 year old to Hampstead Hill School and re-assessing the plan when the school finishes at 7+. Anyone know about the school's reputation? I feel rather out of my depth...

Hi, I would also be interested in hearing any comments about Hampstead HIll School. It looks lovely and they seem really nice everyone. But I dont know anyone who has gone there that I can ask.

Hi,
I know that this is an old message but, just to give you a steer... All three of my children went through HHS and miss it still. The last left last year and, like her siblings went on to a fantastic school. The teachers are very loving and know each child well and Andrea, the head, is loved by the parents and kids. This sounds a bit gushy but when my husband had a life threatening illness she was so supportive of me and the kids (took child who had already left after school, reassured me that they could kept in the evenings and fed, constant updates about how they were coping etc.). She even alerted the heads of the schools my son was sitting for about the situation and made sure that he received extra monitoring during the exams. Do not be put off by the seeming chaos (if you are, then don't go to HHS you are too uptight!). It has a high proportion of working mums, is more multi-cultural and economically diverse than others in the area and has given me more close friends than any of my children's subsequent schools. Hope this helps.
