Nursery fees

How much do you pay for nursery fees? Do you pay an hourly rate/day rate etc. Do you know how your nursery will change their fees in September when we get 15 hours free?

My nursery is £42 per day or £192 per week. I'm not sure if many nurseries charge by the hour - mostly just a daily flat rate.

Sorry, can't help you on the 15 hours free per week question as I didn't even know about it and know that I won't qualify even if there is a change! Are you talking about the free nursery places all 3 and 4 year olds get?

Have the free 15 hours a week not come into effect yet then?
My 3 year old starts pre-school next week and will be doing 3 hours a day. That equals 15 hrs a week.
I've not been asked to pay anything extra.

it depends where you are, there are pilot areas in the country. Also some Pre-Schools don't charge for the extra 1/2 hr anyway.
