moving a mobile classroom?

Anyone got any experience of moving a mobile classroom?

We are having the opposite -a mobile put in our grounds.

I don't suppose you've any rough idea what it's cost for the hard standing for it, plumbing, sewerage, electrics etc. do you? Or the cost of actually moving it (not the cost of the mobile itself).

Is it to be raised off the ground or sunk in?

Raised is cheaper - I think you need concrete pads (small individual foundations - often paving slabs) - & they aren't too expensive in themselves

How long is the distance between the new toilets and the existing sewer?

How far away are you from the electrics?

Do you need new ramps/stairs? they cost about £3-4k each

Plus there is a cost involved in screening the gap underneath

I do have some figures - I'll see if I can root them out tomorrow

It will be raised up and it's going right next to an existing mobile so just needs to use the same sewer & electrics connection as that one does.

Probably would need new ramps / stairs.

(I suspect the preschool would also need a new Chair after the whole project drives me into the Priory Clinic )

Is it on grass/dirt or concrete

it's on tarmac at the moment but will be moved to an area that is currently grass.

I think it's about £400 a leg for pad foundations (so you need to count the legs)

I'd assume about £2K for your water, electric & sewerage as long as the existing supply can take the load
