Starting preschool, any tips?

My PFB is starting preschool (or is it nursery?) in a matter of weeks and I'd like to get him prepared. He likes the idea of "school" and he is starting gently with 2 mornings a week.

We went for a visit and he walked off with barely a glance behind him, but I'm sure it would be different if I actually left the room.

He is 2.3, any tips for helping him with the transition?

Just dump him and run in the opposite direction! I'm sure he will be fine and once there will love it. It is you who will need help with the transition and not having him around all the time.
