Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

There are 5 free 2.5 hour sessions per term week the term after they're three (this has risen to 15 hours per week in some areas, I think), so your dd would be eligible in September.

It depends on pre-school. Phone the one you are hoping for and ask them about waiting lists. Our local one is a nightmare as everyone wants their DC to go there.

asap if you're aiming for a pre school attached to a primary school. some fill up really quick if they don't have enough places for all the catchment children.

MollieO · 02/01/2009 19:43

Where we live, if you leave it any later than 2 your dc won't get a place before they start school!

clarebear1 · 03/01/2009 09:04

ooh dear ok fanx ill look into it asap

My childminder did this for me and put my sons name down for a place just after he turned 2!! She knew they are oversubscribed (esp the good ones) -I had no idea about any of it!!
Do it ASAP.

Have a look on your local council website....ours sends out acceptance (or otherwise!) letters in march AFAIR

whitenoise · 03/01/2009 11:57
