We had a family BBQ at pre-school yesterday, made £260 on ticket sales, £75 from a very small & crap raffle and £45 from face-painting.
But we also had a licenced bar and I set up slates for all the parents and sold 'em beer and Pimms by the jug full. The bar took over £500 in 3.5 hours.
Not sure what Ofsted would make of it though.
