Hello new to this but is it just me or anyone else thinks this Dojo class points are a way of controlling what kids do at home? The points options are like ready for bed, brush teeth, meal time, bath, like with work and house cores and having a routine are really parents still probably in bed to get some rest from a long day and giving points or even during weekends when is family time day off and be on the phone giving points. What is your thoughts about this?

My children’s school use Dojo but I’ve never used the home points - I think you have to pay for that? They use it to send photos and messages. In reception they earn Dojo points (y1-6 then get house points instead) for good work etc to help parent see what they’ve been rewarded for.

Speak to the school if you are concerned or just don’t use the home points.

Hahaha so why I have to pay for points? It's ridiculous... 😆

It's optional to pay for the premium version where you give points at home... I don't know anyone who uses it. I guess if you were struggling with behaviour and wanted an incentive to get your children to do certain tasks then you might opt for it otherwise just ignore that element and just use it for your class updates.

Not needed at home. So my daughter already on her 4th day at school and no points was given on the app. I ask her yesterday how was the day and if they give her any points and my daughter told everything what she has done in school, I asked the school about the points when is it updated in the app but nobody answered.
