Hi. My daughter started nursery September last year. First she had 9 hours. From January she gets 11 hours per week. Now I need decide how many hours I need from September this year. I can get even 30 hours but I think about 15. She will be 3 years and 5 months then. She's still back tired after 3 hours. She still have a nap during a day. I am not sure about that. Could you tell me what is yours idea 😊 thank you

We did 30 hours for all our kids from 3 years onwards. It’s good for them to interact with other kids and prepares them for reception. Even with 30 hours all of my kids were exhausted all through reception and only started settling in year 1.

She may well have dropped her nap by September.

By 3.5 children usually cope well with full days.
