Preschool refusing 30 hours

DD turned 3 in August, and should access her 30 hours in September. We enrolled her at a school nursery and all seemed fine. However, things unravelled quite quickly and the preschool are now adamant she’s not coping and want her to do 15 hours.

This does have implications for work (as well as the fact that it means she’s not accessing what she’s entitled to.) Does anyone have any advice?

Why isn't she coping? Do they have a plan to help? Maybe a childminder might work better for her. I'd work on the root cause of the issue here basically

We’re trying to do that - it’s very hard, though.

She seems very unhappy and is attacking other children Blush preschool have taken a very dim view of this which is understandable but it does mean she’s been labelled somewhat and it is making her unhappy in turn so a bit of a vicious circle.

How does she no she's been labelled? What are you doing to help with this? Does she attack other children when you take her to play groups/soft play etc? Is ur new behaviour?
