Have anyone had any experience with putting their child into a Welsh school and finding out they may have learning difficulties?? My daughter has started nursery in wales but she is behind slightly and I’m worried about keeping her in Welsh medium to start reception

My eldest has ADHD/ASD/Dyspraxia and has done all of his education in the Welsh medium, including some modules of his degree (which when he was in primary school did NOT seem like an achievable goal but he has a 2:2 which I am incredibly proud of). Very rarely I'd have a wobble that maybe I'd be doing him a favour to let him just learn in one language but he did well. I don't have children educated through English medium to compare with but his secondary (recommended by the OT and his paediatrician) had excellent resources and really looked after him. He exceeded everything I ever expected for him.

Thank you so much, I needed this she has no trouble pronouncing Welsh and loves where she goes, I feel that if I move her she will regress but the concern is there do I act now or start the journey x
