Glendower 4+ Waitlist 2023

Hi there, My daughter has just got a waitlist email from Glendower. Does anyone know that “waiting list” for G is just a polite way saying “NO” to all the candidates who have not got offer or it does mean something that they keep small number of waitlist.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hello,
I would definitely not despair. Falkner results are out Friday and quite a few people might switch if offered both. Also at least two people I personally know on the waitlist won’t accept if offered.

Do you know any tips that I can do at this position to help filling in if the turn down place appears. As G is a top girls prep school, really few ppl would give up the place.

I would call the registrar and explain how keen you are and how they are truly your first choice.

Hi@Gclondon1, We have not heard anything from waiting list. and We only get an offer from Queen's college.

Hi @Londonmamma22 ,I got reply from registra from G, myDD is not at top position of list..but he did mention the list is quite short. I'm really not sure about the possibility as G is really our first choice...

Did the registrar tell you want created the order of this list? He emailed to me that offers would be made “in order” on the waiting list, but I have no idea what that means. In order from when they took assessment? Ugh he didn’t give us an idea of where our daughter is in the waiting list.

No, he did not say that, but what he said to me is quite generally. I think they have an internal rank in terms of ages and qualities? what other schools your DD has got so far?

Just garden house and Fulham prep. We are also wait list of pembridge hall, which she’s been registered at since she was 4 months old… but somehow we still don’t have a spot. Hoping, Glendower works out, or we have to pay deposit at garden house this Friday.

Garden house is also very good school. We have only got waitlist as well. We assessed 4 schools all on waiting list😂 They do rank for the waiting list on Pembridge, maybe you could email them.

We have not got any schools yet...except the one called Chepstow house which I've turned down the place.

We got the offer back in November, too confident to believe that we are going to get other offers.😥

We just declined a place at Glendower this morning, so I am hoping it will be offered to someone on the waitlist today!
