Funded hours

Hi all,
I cannot find any answers online.

My son has just turned 4, (last week to be exact) and he has the 30 hours a week funded at nursery.
He starts school in September this year.

Do his 30 free hours continue over summer until school?

The hours are for term time only as far as I know but you do have the option of spreading it out over the whole year (although still to the equivalent of term time only hours if that makes sense)

Yeah we are stretched hours …

If you are stretched hours, then yes, they should continue.

The best thing to do is to check with his nursery, check your contract, or speak to the local authority NEF team for absolute clarification.

So you are currently doing 22 hours per week for 50(?) weeks per year?

Same situation here, have been told by nursery that funding continues until 31st August.
