Our nursery is saying that if our kids show covid symptoms then they will be sent home and made to do a pcr. No return until negative. Lateral flow tests not accepted. This is despite the removal of the legal requirement to self isolate if positive.
My one year old is regularly getting coughs and temperatures that don't turn out to be covid due to teething and other colds. He's being sent home every other week when he's not unwell, sometimes just a tickly cough. I'd been hoping nurseries would now accept LFts. Any other nurseries this vigilant? Thanks.
