Hopefully someone here can advise. My son is 3.5 and has been at nursery a year so started when he was 2.5. However now he's over 3 he's in the big room with all kids his own age or maybe 4 year olds too.it's same building etc but a new room and a new keyworker. This change happened last week when nursery started back after school hols

So far he's been visiting his old room and old keyworker a fair bit which is allowed as the rooms are joined. He prefers to have story time in there rather than the new room. I'm just worried he will fall behind? As he should be getting used to his new lady

I worry about how he will cope next year in primary. Anyone had any similar stories and how did it turn out?

Aah he won't fall behind, he's just seeking comfort in what he knows. Once he's used to the new room he'll be fine. It sounds like a totally normal reaction.
