Can anyone shed some light on this...
My children get funded hours 15hrs p/W I've decided to change their nurseries as 1 is just starting in September and is special needs do registration fees apply to funded families?
The nursery I was with never asked for any registration fees but the nee one is saying it's £100 per child!?

Registration fees should not apply if you are ONLY accessing the 15h, these should be completely free with no add ons. But in my borough, if you are accessing more hours than that (and therefore will be paying fees as well) they can charge a registration fee. If it is only for 15h and they insist, I would speak to the local authority.

@happystory
Thanks for your reply yes it's only the funded hours I will be using! It's also £5 a day each for meals which I thought was quite expensive I was under the impression I should t have to pay registration fees and instead of charging me £100 a child they've now give me discount if I send both boys there £50 for both it's a private nursery but I think I may have to speak to my local authorities about it I'm Manchester and I know a few people have said they shouldn't be charging me

Never known a nursery in my area to charge registration fees so yes I would question it.
