Rowan pre-prep - Claygate

Morning all,

I am looking at Rowan pre-prep for my daughter who will be 3 in November.

Does anyone have any experience of Rowan as a school (pre-prep or prep as she will likely remain there throughout)?

I really like the look of what they offer and it says that they aren't academically selective but I'm not sure if this is 100% true as most of their girls go on to highly selective / top performing private secondary schools?

Any thoughts as it is really tricky making these decisions atm due to covid restrictions in place.

Thanks in advance

We recently moved to the area and enrolled our girls into Rowan years 1 and 4. Our girls absolutely love it, and the children and teachers have been very welcoming. In my view it has the perfect balance of being both nurturing and academic.
Good luck.

@Annie0604 thank you so much for the feedback. I think we are going to go ahead and apply to Rowan as I haven't actually come across a negative view yet (although I am sure they exist as with all schools)!

Hope your girls continue to enjoy it there and that you have settled into the area.

Good luck OP. Great choice.
The only gripe my Y4 daughter has is she feels sad she couldn't enjoy this school from reception!

That's really sweet! This is definitely the vibe I get from it. The girls seem to actually enjoy it there!!
