Thoughts on full time Vs part time school nurseries

Need to apply for my DD's nursery soon - ones attached to primary schools. She will be 3 in June and would start next September. Just wanted to know what people think about full time vs part time? I am a SAHM and also have twins 1.5 years younger than her. I thought to send her full time just because that's what I did growing up but having read a little, it may be more advantageous for her to still spend quite a bit of time at home with me and her siblings. She's also never been to a private nursery so may be a big jump. We can afford full time so that's not an issue. Just wanted to see what people's experiences are. Thanks

My absolute preference is part time over 3 days.
The problem with the 3hr sessions isthey limit what you can do with the toddlers.

Is it part of the school, or one run by another company? School run ones don't always let you pay for extra hours if you don't get 30hours funded.

We chose to send DD for 15 hours, as it was the best thing for her. (Not saying it's the best thing for everyone). She hadn't been to nursery before and had a 6m old brother. She also still napped. She got time at nursery and time with us at home. It did limit what I could do with DS, but wasn't too bad once he dropped to one nap, as we needed to be home for nap time anyway. I did sometimes regret not making the most of the 30hr funding though! You might feel this more strongly with two at home.

In our case the deciding factor was that DD still napped, so she's in for one full-ish day - that she comes home from totally shattered - and two half-days. All else being equal I'd rather half-days if they still nap.
