why does ds (3) suddenly hate preschool when he's enjoyed it since Jan????

just left him there and he was upset - feel so mean. why has he suddenly started not liking it? he goes 4 mornings a week, but has been off poorly for last week. is that why he is upset going in? his speech isn't great so it is hard to get reasons from him.

Do the staff say he is ok when you have gone dinny? It could be that he is a little unsettled because he has been away for a while.

We moved house and DS suddenly hated his pre school. Well, he was not liking it too much before, but I thought that was becasue things were unsettled at home.

When we moved, taking him was a PITA anyway so I took him out.
Never did figure out why, although he was ill quite a bit (he had pneumonia) and never really settled properly after that. I bet that is why your DS is upset.

I persevered for so long but decided I was flogging a dead horse, what is the point if he wasn't enjoying it.

ds was Ok today - am pretty sure it's been because he had his measles jab a couple of weeks ago....

will see what next week brings!
