My 3yr old little man has delayed development by about a year(due to extreme prem) I was thinking if getting him a doll to help with education and hygiene needs. Is it a good idea? Would it be weird to give a boy a doll??

Absolutely not weird. Definitely get him one if you think it'll help at all.

I've taught Early Years, you go with what they like or what will help. I've seen plenty of boys enjoy "girls things" and vice versa.
