Roche nursery Keswick House

We recently looked around this nursery for our daughter who will turn 4 in September and would be starting that term. Does anyone have any recent experience with the nursery? Will 5 mornings be sufficient or do most children stay on for the afternoon? Also interested in which schools it feeds into. Thanks.

Hey OP. Probably not hugely helpful but I looked around and registered DS1 at Roche Keswick a few years ago. We moved overseas temporarily so I didn't take up the place in the end, but I really liked it and would have done had we stayed in Putney.
With regard to next schools, I looked at pretty much all of the preps in Putney and decided upon Merlin for my boys, however for a girl I would have chosen Prospect House, hands down. I went to an open day at Roche prep school and didn't like it at all though have friends who rave about it. Horses for courses I guess. I really liked Hurlingham too.
My DS1 is also a September birthday and at just turned 4 did 5 mornings a week which was plenty for him. He was tired by the end of the week. Hope that helps a little. If nothing else it bumps your post!

I have a DD at the nursery. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The teachers are amazing, the rooms are spacious, the garden is lovely. They are stretched and learn tonnes but in a lovely, fun way. Most children seem to start with mornings-only but some go straight into full days (9am to 3pm) and manage fine (but are pretty exhausted by the end). The children have a rest after lunch were some nap and others just have quiet time. Every afternoon they do a different activity, so Mondays are sports, Tuesdays are forest school, etc. Lunches have to be brought in - personally I would prefer it was hot lunches instead but can't have everything. Parents are a mix of professionals and SAHMs. Lots are English but lots of international families also. They go on to a wide range of schools such as Putney High, The Roche, Merlin, Ken Prep, The Study, Squirrels etc. Children are automatically offered a place at The Roche.
