Holidays and learning

I'm taking my 2.5 yrs twins to Blackpool soon for a long weekend to see family and have a bit of a holiday. We want to do some more "educational" visits besides playing on the beach. We're going to the zoo and sealife centre. Has anyone got any other ideas of places to go that they can learn something? TIA

I'm sure someone will be along with some fantastic ideas, but really don't worry if you don't do them. Playing on the beach has many educational benefits. Learning about tides, physical play, digging and pouring, seeing a range of different people, eating new foods and loads more.

Learning through play is great.

I'm going to watch for ideas from other people though Grin.
