Is there a weekly comic suitable for a 4 year old girl?

ds gets the Beano every week and dd is starting to feel left out. I can't find a little girls' comic that comes out weekly. Is there such a thing?

Thanks.

Maybe the Dora the Explorer one?
Or there appears to be something called "Pink" ...

Have a browse through Newsstand website - I've linked it to the pre-school list. You could also have a look at the "Primary Girls" section too though - dd has been getting the Angelina magazine and it would be fine for a 4 year old.

Agree about Angelina, and dd sometimes gets Amy which is really a bit young (it's a BBC magazine). It's only fortnightly though, I think.

(bit young for her I mean, not a 4 year old- it's probably aimed at 6-7 or thereabouts)

there are lots of them - they normally have some free toy/pink thing attached to the front to make them more attractive. Dd has always been particularly attracted to Sparkle World but there are lots of others.

Oh sorry, missed that you wanted a weekly one. I think the only weekly one is the CBeebies magazine - would that do? Or you could organise a selection of less frequent ones so that she gets one a week?

Thanks for the ideas. I'd forgotten about Twinkle. Do they still print it? I'll have to go look..

The Fifi, CBeebies, Hi-5, Barbie ones etc are not weekly but every single blooming week we go shopping there one of them is new out that dd discovers so you can just alternate between them.

Cbeebies is weekly, and my daughter (3.5)has it each week. It has got a lot of stuff geared to early reading and writing, so I'd say well pitched for a 3/4 year old!
