My DD got into my first choice of preschool, weds & Fri afternoons. starting after xmas hols. just really pleased she got in there as know waiting list was Huge!

It does sound like madness,and your DS2 should get in well you'd think so anyway. my first choice of mainstream school is out of my catchment area but i put my DD on the waiting list just before she turned 1.

just a question (and sorry to hijack)

my dd's name is already on the preschool list since January and will be the oldest and also will be starting on her birthday month - october....does that mean she is in? or i wait for a letter to see? as ive gotta go back in July to meet other mums and toddlers who are starting at the same time as my dd.

Big Creme Eggs, you'll have to wait for phone call or letter from the pre school, i had a phone call from all 3 of the pre schools i put my DD name down on.
If you haven't heard anything after easter give them a call because everyone should know by then

so really i should be putting more than 1 preschool down? as ive only got 1 for now. So if i not heard after Easter ill call them?

I put my DD down for 4 pre schools in my area, and just before she turned 1.
I was told just because shes one of the oldest doesn't g'tte her a place.
their could of been other children who's been on the waiting list for ages.
Its good idea to put down for more than one, but thats only my perspective
