phonics - tactile resources....

I started off thinking about getting some basic flash cards but now I've got something in my head which works more on a play learning with 3D blocks with the phonics sounds on which you can then use as physical puzzles to join the sounds together....

Something visual, tactile and kinetic..

Anyone know anything similar??? Am I even making sense???

I've just googled that as it certainly sounded good but the first page is all the TV show - do they exist as an actual thing to play with too??

I think these see and spell puzzles look good.
