AM or PM with a newborn.

My DS currently does afternoons at our local primary school nursery. It works well for us as I can pick him up on my way home from school.
He's been offered a morning place from Sept and I'm not sure if I should swap it for PM. I'm expecting DS2 in the middle of the summer holiday and I can't decide if I'd rather do the school run early and potentially have a morning snooze. Or have lazy mornings at home and drop DS1 in after lunch.
Which worked best for you with a newborn?

AM.

My dd does 2 full days but I found I needed the nap in the morning.
DS was born on her first day at nursery in September (talk about timing!) and the few month or so was tough but your up in the morning anyway.
Once new baby starts sleeping longer nights your going to have an actual wake up time so for me it was better to all get up, breakfast, get ready, drop of dd and then back home for morning nap. That way I had the energy to cope with 2 tired kids in the afternoon/evening!

Am. Then you can all nap after lunch
