Dd was peed on today.

shed been "handed over" to me and was just using the loo before we left teh premises. as the loos are obviously without a door I was facing away so not to appear to be watching.

Dd came out rather upset and a boy had peed on her Sad

before people jump in with "it would have been an accident" it not only was a "strip" from waist up to collar of jumper but it had soaked through to her vest so obviously more than a "shit I turned round at the wrong time" or a miss aim as it wasn't on her trousers or shoes.

I didn't have a chance to say anything as I had to rush for another pick up but obviously I will.

It's just so disgusting and nasty for a kid so young to be capable of doing Sad

Why was there a boy in the girls toilets (or why was your DD in the boys toilets)?

It's just unisex they are obviously all young it's a nursery so they just go themselves. There's no main door so staff can see in but they are partitioned off like cubicles but with no door

This needs bringing up with the nursery staff,and leaving for them to deal with imo,but leaving them with an understanding that your dd was upset by it.

I'd have a word with staff tomorrow. I wouldn't be going apeshit, but I'd want them to know it had happened.

Whose supervision was the boy under? Why were they in the same cubicle or did he go in after her?

Oh I don't plan on going ape don't worry.

She was in my care at that point anyway. It was pick up/drop off point so a particularly hectic few mins and parents obviously obstructing the view a bit too.

I'm just inclined to think it was a deliberate mean act because it soaked through a jumper and a t shirt and a small patch through to the vest which to me shows it wasn't an accident

I didn't t see what happened but there's more than one loo and he was in the one next to her when dd came out but obviously not til after he weed on her

Boys this age are just learning that they can 'shoot' and are fascinated by it!

It's obviously not good what happened to your DD but try not to think too badly of the little boy.

Tell the nursery staff tomorrow, they can talk to him about it and make sure he knows not to do it again.

(That's me with my teacher hat on; as a parent of a 2yo DD I'd feel like you OP!)

She's been at the nursery for well over a year. never been an incident of this before despite being in the to let's with boys baby a time before.

my Dds not the smartest kid. In fact when they were handing out brain cells she wasn't even near the back of the queue. She was miles in tie opposite direction to the queue. (love her to bits but she makes phoebe from friends look like Steven hawking Grin)

but even she knows weeing on someone is mean and would upset them.

I just don't see how it could he an accident of there was this much wee on her. and with "walls" either side he physically would have had to step back out of the cubical to do it

It was clearly deliberate, but he may have thought funny, rather than mean- little boys are odd critters!

I agree with Tan. It almost certainly was deliberate, but that doesn't mean it was nasty or intended to upset. He probably just thought it was funny. My 3yo is of average intelligence I would estimate, but also quite capable of thinking weeing on someone is funny. Wee and poo are hilarious from ages 3 to about 18 8 ime!

or maybe inform parents and suggest that they supervise him at home to make sure his aim is ok and to remind him to be careful.

I don't expect them to re potty train him.or anything.

Well DS managed to accidentally soak a member of staff. He didn't realise he was pointing up rather than down. There was also the time he tried to adjust, did it the wrong way and got himself too.

Did he walk into her cubicle, or did she walk past his at the worst possible time?

She was her side.
shed finished and was stood up pulling up her trousers.

I'm assuming he doesn't realise just how gross it is but I do think if he weed so much on her that it was more than an accident.

I'll mention it after easter In a polite manner and hope it was just a one off. She loves pre school so don't want it changing now.

Sadly my DS at 3 would do this either because he wasn't looking at what he was doing it as he hadn't learnt it was wrong and thought it was funny etc - at that age they have just learnt to point and spray as opposed to sitting down. They barely have a concept of germs etc
Ask nursery to address it. Very unfortunate but not unheard of
