Yes but it's not a very active board unfortunately.

There's one run at the Point (youth centre, by the library) that is highly spoken of. There used to be a really good one at the Baptist church in Clarence Road, but I am not sure if it has relocated - might be worth enquiring. The one at St Philip and St James, in King's road is run more as a playgroup, rather than as a nursery, but is very popular. I believe there is a Montessori nursery run in the Willis Hall in Church Crookham.

For toddler groups there is a really good one at Fleet Baptist and I am pretty certain the United Reformed church now run a good one too.

My Fleet info is slightly dated as I moved away but pm me if you need help as I have many friends still there and can ask for you if needed. All the schools are good - you're laughing, really, when it comes to formal education.

LittleSweep how did you get on with your move? We'll be moving to the area in 3-4 weeks with a 5 year old and 8 month old - and keen for suggestions re baby groups/play groups, coffee shops etc. We've chosen a school but it would be good to hear more personal experiences of schools than the ofsted reports give...
