My ds is 3.10 and has been going to his nursey since January, he made some really good frendships and loved going school. Since he has gone back all the children ( and i mean ALL) that he played with have gone to big school and his is totally lost. ( makes me sad every morning to watch him standing there and not runnig round like he did last term!
Most the children that are there now have just turned 3. The teachers have been great and speaking with one today they have suggested that he goes to the afternoon session as there are bigger boys in that class that like to play the "" Boy Games " that my DS like to play, they also said that he struggles to play with the children as they dont lead and he likes direction.
I think that this would be best for him but also dont want to upset by changing it again so soon after the summer .....

TIA

I think that sounds like a good idea, you could speak to him about it first, saying there are lots of big boys for him to play with etc and it will be really exciting, but that if he doesn't like it, he can go back to mornings?

I'd change him. He's not happy so a change won't be so upsetting and he'll potentially be much happier with the afternoon crowd.
