EYFS - what are these numbers!?

Got my ds2s report today.
Beside each topic are 2 numbers...for example beside reading it says 40-60.
Does that mean anything? Or is it just an admin thing?
Other numbers are 30-50.

Probably expected age in months e.g. for reading they are at the developmental age of 40-60months (or 3years and 4months to 5years)
numbers 30-50months (2.5years to 4)

Yes, its as LittleMissGreen says, which is the 'best fit' age band for that area of development. But it's not great that this has not been explained in the report, in my humble opinion.

If you did want to see the categories, down to the nitty-gritty as it were, there is a website foundationyears.org.uk which has lots of details. Smile
