Hi Can any one tell me if there is any information on line about next steps to the observations that have to be done on Pre school children?

The next steps are whatever staff working with the child think either the child should be doing or provision they should be making to ensure the child progresses. There isn't a list of next steps as they depend on so many different factors and should be individual to each child. You might find some 'suggestions for possible next steps' if you put that into Google, but there isn't a list as such.

No, thee isn't anything online that gives you next steps for observations.
This is because all children are individual and learn at different rates and have diffeent learning styles and indeed different needs.
The next steps are whatever the practitioner decides they are. For some people who haven't understood how the EYFS works this will be the next bullet point in th Development Matters guidance. For most practitoners it will be an activity or larning experienc that is planned to help the child learn and develop in that area.
For example- on friday a child chatted to me about washing her hands to get rid of the bugs as we ate snack. Later, she showed me the poster in the bathroom that demonstrates how to wash hands and we followed it, while we chatted about how bugs can make you poorly.
My next steps for this child could be to discuss other healthy practices such as brushing teeth- I could get a dental hygeniest in to demonstrate this- I could use stories such as I dont want to wash my hands to consolidate this learning or I could plan a handpainting activity so that she had to wash her hands afterwards. I could then introduce healthy food choices and plan a trip to the shops or I could plan a physical activity such as music and movement so we could find out what happens to our bodies when we exercise.
