I have a 3.5 years old baby 3 months - what kind of activities do you do with 2 kids?

I have 2 kids: DS1 3.5 years old baby DS2 - 3 months old. what kind of activities can I do so that both of them are happy? at the moment I delegate 3.5 years old to my husband quite a lot an ow he goes to work and I have to manage myslef... I am seriously struggling... please help with ideas.

Come and play with us! Same age gap, just a bit older (4 next month and 10 months). It's hard isn't it? When DD (the baby) was still that small, I justc arried on with doing DS things, and she slept, fed etc as required, just came along for the ride. DS misses going to school this year by a week (birthday v early Sept) so we have another year to go...

Here's a thread I started on the same subject recently, although not that helpful!

I take them to places with animals and/or play areas. Baby loves to be pushed around in the pram, and I get to chat to toddler or watch her run herself tired. Indoors, I try to set toddler up with activities that don't require too much direct participation from myself, so I can look after baby as needed, and she keeps herself occupied. Play-doh, stringing beads, colouring.... anything that's not too messy or dangerous, and she enjoys enough to stay busy for half an hour or more.
