I'm currently living near Greenwich and am considering moving to Putney - does anyone have any preschool recommendations or tips. Having done the search in my area feeling a bit daunted about starting again so any helpful tips welcome. My DS is 2.7 so I am looking for a preschool place either September or January.

Please rule out Treetops in Fulham. The staff don't interact with the children. It's big and shiny looking but the staffing is dreadful.

Bobbie's in Fulham is good and there's a Montessori too (but I don't have any experience of it). If yours are preschool age rather than daycare, Sinclair House is lovely. Pippa Poppins has a good reputation but long waiting lists and very expensive.

Not sure there is a nursery in Putney itself, my friend who lived there had hers in nursery in Fulham.

I can recommend a lovely nanny if you are considering that route?

There are loads of nurseries/pre schools in Putney. Most have been mentioned on other threads.
The nurseries attached to the primary schools will only take children in the year before reception but others include
Lion house
The Roche
Poppits
gwendolen House
Noddies
Puddle ducks
Busy bees
Beehive

Some are day care nurseries, others are per-schools. Most have long waiting lists though.
